When you're off, you should enjoy it! Enjoy sleeping in, no schedules, no pressure to perform. Have a pajama day or two. But if all days become pajama days... then it can be hard to enjoy. The time off becomes a stress factor.
But why care about that? No one sees if I've washed my hair or put on a bra. Except for myself, that is. There's nothing wrong with my pajamas, is there?!
No... but it quickly gets quite monotonous with the same plaid pants. At least make sure to occasionally change into that red silk pajama set you got for Christmas but never dared to wear!
Because in the long run, pajamas are more than just something to sleep in.
They signal to the brain that it's a day without demands and expectations. Without work. Without anyone waiting for you to arrive. A pajama day is nice – twenty are depression. But hope is closer than you think. Namely, in your own wardrobe (or why not a friend's)!
On the twenty-first pajama day, you should throw your pajamas into the laundry basket and take out your finest dress (preferably even before your morning coffee). Dress up in a dress even if you're not going anywhere. Every time you walk past the mirror, you'll catch a glimpse of a person who is worth dressing beautifully, feeling beautiful. Straighten your back a little. Do you see how she radiates?
I wish you many lovely pajama days, but also many more days where clothes brighten up your everyday life!
